Global economic events which have affected Turkey like the rest of the world have forced us to cancel this year s Festival planned for June. It is tough... We guess from your own experiences that you know that funding for social events gets hit hard in this climate & despite the ongoing support from some of our financial supporters & you Salseros, the Salsa Fest will have to wait until another year. We had a great event planned with the workshops & international guests so our team are disappointed that the hours of hardwork will not be seen on stage this year.
Salsa is in our blood... We could not have achieved any of this without the support from the artists, Dj s, volunteers and everyone both inside the Turkish Salsa community and overseas. We thank you for your love and support. We will continue to support other events in Europe and beyond as well supporting events in Turkey which are loyal and faithfull to bussiness ethical values
We hope to be back soon with a bigger and stronger Salsa Festival in 2010, that once again is worthy of our great country - Turkey.
