Salsa in Istanbul

Dear friends,

I'm going to visit Istanbul, Turkey during my business trip and I would like to find salsa discos near Swiss hotel (located: Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul Bayıldım Cad. No: 2 Maçka Beşiktaş) to spent my Saturday eve.

Could you please advise, where I can find it? Some of my friends told me, that the most of discos are located on Taksim street. If it`s true, could you please advise, which one I should prefer?

Hi,
On saturdays, the best place near your hotel is Tiyatro Kafe organized by IMU dance. You can even walk there. There are people who dance on1 and on2.
There are places in Taksim but on other days.

I would like to find salsa LA discotheque near Old Towh.
On different forums does write, that in Istambul in May discotheque don't work yet - is a true?
Could you help me, please, to find workings clubs from 6 to 11 May?

Unfortunately, IMU has given summer break for his salsa parties on saturdays.
However, on saturday and sundays there are ones in Asian Side of Istanbul, let me know if you are interested in them.

We don't know where we'll stay there yet, because we are planning some trip out of city - to the South coast. And we have just 3-4 days for excursions in Istanbul.
